A credit card company placed a lien on my property without any notification at all. They have 30 days from their complaint to file one and I am supposed to receive at least 2 days notice before they file. This was not done. Ok, first where are you located. Second, They should only be able to place a lien after they receive a judgment. Third who told you that had to inform you?

A lien is just an encumbrance on a property. It means the property can't be transferred until the lien is satisfied. Doesn't matter that you are only a part owner.
