I have Verizon's LG Versa which I recently flashed to the latest software (VX690V07). I'm looking for a setting to require me to enter my security code to unlock my phone. Currently it is setup to require a security code upon powering up the phone.

Right now, to set the lock, I have to go to Settings & Tools->Phone Settings->Security->(Enter my security code)->Lock Phone Now. Which is too many steps to lock my phone after checking a text message.

I don't want to chance leaving my phone at a client's home and lose my contacts. Other phones allow me to require a security code, this is the first one I've owned that does not lock itself automatically.

You can go to the shortcut screen and put the phone settings on the page then you can just click on the button/logo and hit security. Then your there that's allc I have found so far I will keep looking for easier ways
