    Concord 80 plus
    Why dose my furnace go out at night by its self and not try to start it seams like it could be a roll switch if I take the cover off then push the black switch in it works fine for a while again and then dose it again with in a day what could it be??

    Sounds like the unit is "locking out", and removing/replacing the access panel is interrupting/ restoring power and cancelling the lockout. Does the unit have a status LED behind a clear viewer on one of the front panels? If so, observe and note pattern (if any) of blinks next time the unit locks out. Do so BEFORE opening front panel.

    Thanks I will check that out the next time it goes out but what would make it lock out

    Overheating,flame failure, are the two most common issues.

    Hi you rember me my concord 80 plus went out again and the light blinks 6 times pause then 6 times pause then 6 times and keeps repeating do you know what that means

    Check inside the access panels, or on the circuit board, for service legend.

    Well dident see no service legend but there is a diagram on back of panel what dose 3 blinks mean on the red light do I have to do a reset process or something

    Three blinks usually means pressure switch code, but if you look everywhere on the furnace the codes should be listed somewhere. Neve seen won without them. They would also be listed in your instulation manual if you have it.

I have a concord 80 plus that is mounted horizontally. The pilot light turns on, the gas ignites, but will only stay lit for a few seconds. It will try this three or four times before the blower shuts off. The thermostat works fine (atleast it did for ac). Any suggestions?
