Guardianship of minor child due to unfit biological parents
My question is: If a biological father can be proven to be unfit due to past drug, alcohol or abusive behavior is it possible that guardianship of a young child be granted to a family member ie: an aunt.
    Thank You

Its possible. You would be better working with the local Family Services agency on this.

It also depends on where the mother is in all of this and more importantly, what is the CURRENT status of the father? You said past issues... how past?
