1992 Ford F350 Fuel system issues
I have a 1992 Ford F350 with a 4.9 liter 6 cylinder engine. I cannot get it to start. I replaced the fuel pressure regulator valve. I can still hear fuel going into the tank and the fuel pump is pumping continuously. Any suggestions?

. Ensure battery is fully charged. Most auto parts stores will do this for free.

. Test all under hood and under dash fuses with a test light or multimeter:

    . Check for codes.

. Check for spark. Remove a spark plug wire and attach it to a properly gapped spark plug, touch the plug to a convenient ground, and observe the spark, while someone cranks the engine. If there's no spark, or it's weak, replace the Ignition Control Module and coil. Ensure spark plugs (Motorcraft only) have been recently changed, along with the rotor, distributor cap, and spark plug wires.

. Check for fuel. You have confirmed that you can hear the fuel pump run. Ensure there's enough fuel in the tank.

90%+ of crank but won't start situations are electrical-related, not fuel.
