    Basement bathroom
    I am currently building a basement bathroom.The lic plumber already installed the sewage ejector etc.

    Plumber told me that installing a bath tub is not allowed as per code and that I shall go with a standing shower.

    I am in Northern NJ > rutherford NJ to be exact.

    Where I can verify this information.NO we have not pulled permit for this job.

    PLease advise.Thank you.

    It may involve opening up the floor to move some of the plumbing pipes under the ground but I have never heard of such a thing but you can call your local building inspector and they should be able to answer your question or forward you to the plumbing inspector this number can usually be found in the gov. pages of the phone book for your area good luck hope you get your tub
