I keep twisting my hair.
Recently, I have been twisting my hair and I keep doing it its going to all be patchy and things. On my left side a whole patch has come out at the front, its like short hairs now but not that short you wouldn't be able to tell, and it's the same at the back and other side but not as worse.
I do it because it feels good and I don't actually relise I'm doing it. Everyone keeps telling me to stop but I can't. Help?:( |

It is actually a form of self mutiluation, annonimus and you have to stop it, if you can't stop it on your own, you have to get help to do so. I suggest you talk to a school counsellor (if you are still going to school). Or your best bet would be your physician who can direct you to the right kind of help. Tick |

This happens to me too like I didn't even notice how bad it was until like recently. My mom has been telling me for a long time now that its something I've done and I don't even realize it. We'll be talking and then all of a sudden she will be like "stop twisting!" I don't know how long or how much I do this and it kind of scares me. It gets to where my hairs coming out too and it drys it out so much and it get in tangles it can't get out of. I'm fearing its secretly taking over my life. Lol
