    Our change oil light came on in our 2001 pontiac grand am se and the light won't go out

    The light won't go off by itself. At least not for a very long time.

    Did you change the oil and perform a reset for the oil life index?
    Check your vehicle's owners manual or with your local dealer for the appropriate reset procedure.

I replaced the battery terminals on our Grand Marquis and now it won't turn over and the battery is good. The positive cable had a small red wire that went to the solenoid and down to the starter.
