    Truck overheating
    :(my truck over heats, changed water pump, hoses,thermostat, flushed radiator, still runs hot, adujusted ideal ,1989 dodge 318, do I need a new radiator, or heater core

    Likely, you need a new radiator, due to corrosion or phosphate scale buildup. These links should help:

    An infrared thermometer would likely indicate cold zones on your radiator, due to blockage.

    This might sound crazy, but I didn't see anything about coolant listed. I just want to make sure you didn't overlook anything. My husband's xterra was overheating the other day, he had recently put in coolant but when we looked it was practically empty. We found out the reservoir was cracked and leaking.
