    2 wire tstat
    How do I wire a 2 wire tstat to a bryant heat pump! Can I us a jumper to make the cooling part work! Thank you

    There is no way you can wire a heapump with less the 5 wires.

    You mean you only have 2 wires at the outdoor unit? Or 2 wires at your t-stat? If you have 5 at the stat and 2 outside you can get it to work. With just a little wire changing.

    Yes sir,like you said I have 5 wire's at the t-stat,but only 2wire's run's outside to the heat pump, I hooked the white wire to the (c) and the red wire to the (y) and the unit did come on but it was running on the heat side. I am using for cooling only, so could you tell me how to wire it so the cooling part will work. The unit has a c,y,r,e,w1,o,w2,w3, were do I need to jump it at? Thank you so much for your help!

    If this does not work you may need to bypass the defrost control board.
