    No power to thermostat
I recently had a pool heater installed. The electrician installed it to the incorrect voltage. We found this out when we tried to power up the pool heater. Right after he came back and installed it to the correct voltage, the thermostat and heat pump to my house quit working. It is getting no power. I called the electricians office and told them what happened. The supervisor came to my house while I was not home and checked it. He said my heat pump circuit breaker is fine. Could it be coincidence that my heatpump and thermostat quit working at the same time as the electrician hooked up the pool heater to a higher voltage? What could be the problem?

You need to find the breaker for the heatpump and see if it's tripped. Does the inside unit work? Is it blowing air?

Thank you so much for replying!! No the inside unit does not work. No it is not doing anything. It turns out the circuit board to the inside unit is fried. Burn't black! I am still trying to figure out if the pool heater wiring was to blame or if it was coincidence that the circuit board burnt on the same day. What would cause the circuit board inside to burn like that?
