Alten you reminded me of another one:

I hate for food to touch my lips.

So when I'm eating, I raise my lips a little so the food can go in without touching my lips. Certain things I break if I can to make the pieces small enough so they don't scathe my lips.

In fact, I really don't like anything touching my lips-- except someone else's lips. Then, it's okay. ;)

Do you touch your chin with the food first like Robert on 'Everybody Loves Raymond?'

I also place things on shelves in the house a certain way, and turned exactly right. If someone moves them I HAVE to put them back exactly as they were, I check each day... or it is going to be a very bad day... I know it.

Ex, I am giving you way too much ammunition here.

Haha, no! I appear to eat normally; only I know the secret that lies beneath.

I'm a southerner and I love biscuits- but I swear it's really hard to eat one without getting a bunch of crumbs on my lips!

I actually dab at my mouth when I eat, not to be cute, but because of my lip-touching issue.

    No, not at all hon.

Years ago I was transferred from Pittsburgh to Charlotte. There for 3 months then transferred to Raleigh for 5 years, I absolutely loved Raleigh and the people there. Then I was transferred to Fayetteville, just outside Ft Bragg. Then the company went out of business AND it wasn't my fault either :( !

You are cute, I'll admit that. :)

I guess we all have our quirks. I thought I was strange, but after reading some of the other posts, heck, I'm really normal compared to all of you. ;)

Thanks... I need to stay that way to keep her happy, I think.

    Define 'normal.' By Ex's standards?:)

Na, she'd love you no matter what. :)

Normal by Ex's standards? Does Ex have standards? ;)

    Love you Exy. :)

Ok, now I am up for giving up my partner's weirdest quirk, that drives me nuts and I don't even think it makes sense...

He can't eat anything off anything, for examples...

No popsicles, they taste like wood.
No wings (anything on a bone) cause it tastes like bone. (how does anyone know what a bone tastes like!)
    Anything on a stick.

    It's weird.

Justy, that is weird. Wow, I'm looking more and more normal by the minute.

Keep going people, I feel pretty darn good about myself right now. ;)

Wow, you know my state very well! If you ate some biscuits while you were here, hope you didn't get the crumbs on your lips, hehe.

I loved all the food a lot... except the grits... couldn't ever get used to them even with syrups...

The restaurants were great and all the people were pretty much very gregarious... very friendly. But I had to ignore all the 'Yankee go home' stuff. If you can take that initially they will put up with you...

All of us aren't like that, I love the Yankees, good people as long as I can get past the fast-talking, lol.

Since you mentioned grits... and in keeping with the point of this thread... I could eat grits almost every day. My son loves 'em too. No syrup- true southerners like butter and /or cheese. Maybe some crumbled ham or bacon. Funny, I was just thinking about having some grits tonight for dinner. :p

Ex being weird [ 4 Answers ]

OK I guess that I'll have to start from the begging... My ex-boyfriend and I were dating for 2 years and he randomly decided to dump me in the middle of a horrible snow storm. Would you guys think it would be weird if your (male) boss put his hands on either side of your thighs like... in line with that crease of the top of your leg and butt, but from like behind you.. Like you were standing in front of him and to the left, and he was sort of squatted down diagonally...

This is weird! [ 2 Answers ]

I think a secret route behind my house is haunted. Its really really old and wrecked and one time I saw somebody in there I didn't see his face, but I think he heard me coming because he ran away I went back there later and there was a rope hanging from a tree to a fence and the fence was all...

Something weird [ 5 Answers ]

For a while now, every once in a while, while I'm walking, I'll feel kind of weird. My vision gets blurry and a bit flashy, and I have trouble keeping my balance. This usually lasts about 5 seconds or so and only happens about once every 3 weeks. Today, the same thing happened, but this time it...
