Hey guys,
Basically for awhile now I've been experiencing symptoms like bipolar disorder. To give you a bit ofa back story, I got out of an extremely messy relationship and turned to drugs for a long time, I've finally cleaned up and I'm finding myself have excessive ups and downs. Some times I'll feel on top of the world, then hours or minutes later I just feel so depressed. I have a lot of trouble focusing at school, sometimes I'll care and put time into things and other times I'll just skip or walk out. It's feeling really hard to tell what I feel is real or not, and a lot of things seem like a dream to me, even if it only happened a few hours ago. I'm really confused on what's wrong with me, but I know something isn't right, and I'm blaming the drugs. Can anyone help me out here?

I experience the same things, I will be on top of the world and everything feels great! Sometimes this last for a few days sometimes just a few hours, than I will get really irritated by everything, I will usually have a huge blow up of rage then I am super depressed than it starts all over again! It sucks, I have been on every psych drug and nothing has helped, in fact some of them made me even worse! I think therapy could help but I can't afford it. Sorry to hear that someone else is suffering the same fate as me!

I've tried going to see a doctor/therapy but my mom doesen't think my symptoms are serious enough. The thing is I haven't told her everything I feel, it's really hard to.

I finally came clean with my wife and family and now I get a lot more support from them. Now when I am in mean mode, or depressed mode they know it is just a cycle and they don't take it to heart. I think it would make you feel a lot better and help a lot if you are 100% honest with your Mom about what is going on in your head.
