How can I cope with bipolar disorder
Hello I am 22 years old and have been living with bipolar disorder ever since I can remember.. I was diagnosed at the age of 12. I guess I have felt a bit abnormal my whole life.. its ruining my relationship of 5 years as well as it has a lot of friendships even with family. My boyfriend finds me very hard to get along with but when I'm having a good day.I mean a high pretty much when I say that we get along great as I am also a better mother. I reallly would like to know how other people deal with this?. it is very hard but I really want to control it and not have it control me. Like it has all my life. Is there any techniques used to control bi polar disorder.I am on meds but still would like to know other ways of handling my situation.

Have you ever looked into homeopathy? If not, Google to find someone where you live.
Or look in your phone book. Google: homeopathy to learn something about it.

Make sure you eat plenty of vegestables and take calcium, magnasium supplemetns preferably in liquid form.

Just because you have a mental illness does not mean that you are powerless to make a life for yourself! Develop yourself as an individual. That means being a well-rounded person with hobbies and all kinds of interests in life. You are defining yourself solely as a mentally ill person... don't do that! :)

Best wishes in the coming year,
