    1990 honda civic won't start when hot
    My 1990 honda civic keeps reading code 6 when it warms to working temp. it only started a few days ago and only happens sometimes. But when It does happed if I park my car and turn it off it won't start again until I let it cool down. Once it is started it runs no problem.
    If anyone can help the would be great.

    Replace the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor, which affects fuel injector pulse width. The ECT Sensor is a temperature dependent resistor (thermistor), whose resistance decreases as the engine coolant temperature increases. It provides a richer mixture when cold, leaner mixture when hot. They become corroded, due to not changing the coolant frequently enough, flood the engine, and waste a tremendous amount of fuel.

    It's located under the distributor. Easy job to fix. Remove old one, screw in new one.
