    Furnace will not shut off
    I have a coleman presidential 2 electric furnace,it will not shut off unless I throw the circuit breaker,its not the therostat cause I unhooked it and it still runs blowing out hot air,what can it be

    Either the thermostat wires have shorted together for some reason, or (more likely) the primary heat relay/sequencer has fused (stuck together) contacts. Have you tried kicking the unit yet? Don't laugh... :rolleyes:

I have an electric Coleman furnace which comes on when it should, but will not turn off When the set temp is reached. Even manually using the on/off switch will not stop it. The only way is to flip the circuit breaker. What is going on ? Thank you.:confused:
