    Kennmore 70 Series washer lid removal
    I have a Kennmore 70 washing machine. The spin/drain switch has broken. I need to know how to remove the top lid so that I can access the switch for removal & replacement.

Kennmore 80 Series won't Spin [ 2 Answers ]

The washer works fine except for the following. The tub will not spin. It won't initiate the spin cycle by itself. If I spin the tub by hand, then the washer will complete the spin cycle successfully. The timer works fine and advances through all cycles including spin.
