What is wrong with my elderly, blind cocker spaniel?
I have a blind, deaf, 12 1/2 year old Cocker Spaniel. In the last three weeks she has become very odd. She won't let me get more that about a foot away from her. She wants to be held all the time. We can't leave her home alone (as we always have) because she stresses so bad, scratches at the door to get to us, and poops everywhere (stress poop). She also won't use her doggie door as she always has. Please help! She is on an antibiotic and pain medication for an ear infection (very common for her).

It sounds like in her older years she has developed separation anxiety disorder. Probably because of her ailments she most likely now hates or is even afraid to be alone.

I have a 7 year old Cocker Spaniel, he has been very restless for 2 days now. I am not sure what could be wrong, He won't stay still long, I haven't seen him sleep either, except when he is laying across me. I think he maybe constipated. Anyone have any ideas what could be wrong?
