    Wage Garnishment
I was just notified by my creditor that they are garnishing my paycheck. Is there anyway to stop a garnishment besides giving them the full amount that I owe?

    Hello r:

The time to stop anything was in court. Now it's too late.

This is unusual, normally they don't warn you. But the lender will have had to go to court and get a judgement first, then yes they can do it, and there is nothing you can do to stop it.
