I began the process for filing bankruptcy June 2008. I used a parallegal service who charged my $299.00 to prepare the forms. After the consult I paid them $200 to begin the process. Upon the completion of the required classes for debt acknowledgement, I was asked to pay an additional $40 after noticing that they had forgotten one of my creditors. They refuse to give me the forms until I pay. Can they do that when it was their mistake? What do I do? Please help. Thank You Sincerely.

Can they, guess they did. So your choice, spend 50 to 100 dollars taking them to small claims court, or pay the 40 dollars and get the paper work.

Also you will have to retake the debt counseling classes at this point I believe, you have waited too long
