How can I revive my highlights
    Hi,

I have dark brown hair naturally. One month ago I got blond highlights that looked really nice by a professional hair dresser . But when I shampooed my hair all the highlights turned into brunette color. I did not know that I had to use special shampoo for color treated hair because that was the first time I ever colored my hair. Please tell me what to do now. Can I still get my blond highlights back with going to a salon?

    Thank you

Try buying this shampoo - it worked wonders for me. Redken Blonde Glam Shampoo If that doesn't work, make an appointment to get them done, again, and buy that shampoo. To maintain your color and highlights, only shampoo 2 times a week, and when you do shampoo, do it twice, once to get product build up and dirt out, and the second to get excess oils from your scalp out. Don't straighten, curl or blow dry your hair everyday. And just remember to go to the salon every 6 weeks for a touch up. :)

I recently got some lighter highlights in my hair that I'm not happy with. They came out chunky instead of small and spread out like I prefer. I want to ditch them and a friend said I could use a non permanent darker dye over them for now without hurting my hair too bad. Is this true?
