    Vehicle in Probate Process
My brother is deceased he had three vehicles. One of them he was still paying a note on it
and the company is demanding that I sign to pick up the loan. Probate Court is telling me that I don't have to pay off my brothers loan. They say it is an asset as well as a debt and can only be sold for the blue book value. Can you make some since of this.

Were you a co-signer on the loan for the car? If not then you have no legal responsibility for the car. Therefore the probate is correct it will be sold for what it is worth and the debt left on the car will be paid off with that and if there is still more money left from the sale of the car then it will be applied to other debts.
