    No will - Probate?
My grandma has died, there is no will, she ows nobody any money, she has money in a bank account they have closed upon seeing the death certificate - my auntie used to ask my grandma to sign a form in order to take money out for her but I assume she has no right to this account as it was not in my aunts name. There is only her children alive now, will it go to probate, is the next step and who starts the proceedings?

I think, the oldest of your grandmothers children should start the proceedings.
