That has to be stated in your service and operational manual. Don't you have that?

If so : try any of the following links :

My first reaction would be : replacement of the drain hose is easy to do yourself.
FIRST REMOVE the power plug from the socket, and put it on the floor before you.
    Remove the back panel.
Follow the existing drain hose to locate the pump motor.
Compress the spring that firms the hose to the pump and remove the old hose and replace with new one. Make sure the spring is positioned properly again afterwards.
Close the back panel. Plug in power cord again. Check proper functioning of drain system.

    Success!

The drain hose in my washing machine is backing up. I had to replace the pipe that the hose sits in. It is about 3 inches shorter than the old one. Not sure if this has anything to do with the back up. It starts to drain fine, and then water comes out the top of the pipe.

Must play with drain hose to get washer to drain and spin [ 1 Answers ]

Hi, I have a GE WCSE6270 Washer. After the washer fills and agitates, it starts to make a gurgling, clicking noise and will not finish the cycle (i.e. drain and spin). I noticed that the drain hose in the back was a little leaky, and in trying to play with it, it made the washer drain and spin...
