Puppy Tears Up EVERYTHING and REFUSES to be Potty Trained
As the subject says... I have a puppy that tears up EVERYTHING and REFUSES to be potty trained. My husband and I know that we aren't going to get our apartment deposit or the pet deposits back from the apartments we live in currently, so we aren't really worried about that. What we ARE worried about... We are about to move to Tyler on August 15th. We really really don't want her to tear up the new apartment or to ruin the carpet there.

Does anyone know a trick of some sort to get this taken care of before we move? I mean, it's so bad, she's started affecting our older dog. Now, HE'S tearing things up and using the floor as a potty. If there are any tricks that anyone knows, PLEASE tell me!

Even if we have to start over with the older dog, it would be worth it to get this taken care of BEFORE we move.

    THANK YOU!

Perhaps you could get a potty box and put some carpet- or his/her's preferable prey (the rugs).. I hear dogs love to wee on carpet.. maybe put some carpet in. Don't associate food with the potty box, or anything else but its doo doos.

Don't bother with puppy school. Your dog is teathing as well, you need to make sure you give him/her lots of bones and toys to chew on. Make sure you walk her daily, this way, she will be more exhausted and won't get bored.

    Good Luck
