    Sprinkler pump leaking
I have a well attached to a pump. Recently I noticed that the pipe coming out of the ground and into my pump has a leak. I can replace a pvc pipe but I'm not sure if this pipe's water is under pressure. If I turn off the pump and drain the water, would I be able to replace the pipe with no problems? Or is the water coming directly out of the ground under pressure?

Yes, turn off pump, drain tank to relieve pressure, do repairs. Tank may have air after opening line but will dissipate with water use.
