So usually I get my period on the 20th of every month, my cycle is usually exactly 30 days. Well on June 17th I got my period for 15-16 days for the first 7 it was extremely light and I feared pregnancy, as I am only 18 yrs old. After that it became fresher, more red blood, for the remaining 8-9 days. I was extremely tired and my cramps were horrible. I didn't go to the GYN because I figured it was just an irregular period but now it is July 19th and I had sex and an hour afterwards went to the bathroom and I have my period AGAIN, only in the first few minutes was it red and it is now a brownish discharge, I have been diagnosed last year with HPV stage 1 and it is under control. Being that is has only been 2 weeks without a period and to have it back again is such an annoyance. Although I have no symptoms of my period, besides gas and mood swings. Is this normal? Am I pregnant? Can this be something tragic like my hpv progressing? Please help. It is a Saturday and so I can not speak to my gyn until Monday..

Your cycles could just be off,. on any sort of birth control pill?. this could cause unusual bleeding, but given your HPV status certainly let your doctor know as any abnormal bleeding will be something they would want to look into.

Uh I might be completely wrong, but your period isn't supposed to last more than a week right?
