The purpose of the WPP is to protect your identity, keep you from being located.

Of course everything has to change - your entire identity - not just your address.

Well that really depends on the case. Sometimes a witness is just kept incommunicado until the trial and may be able to resume their life afterwards. But, in most cases, WPP supplies a whole new identity and you can't go back to your old life.

Well I've got some one that's in it and I have contact with them on the same number and name , but they haven't gone to tria yet so maybe it will all change just before the trial as at the moment they have only changed address , I just wanted to know if there telling me the full story or not

Yes your answer has helped I just don't think the person is telling the whole truth to me so that I don't worry ,but I'm frightened for the people that are left behind , the person that has gone inyo wpp is "safe " but what about the ones left to deal with the aftermath who's to say that we won't get targeted instesd of them .

It all depends on the case. Its possible they won't be moved until after the trial.
