    Toilet is spitting up food!
I unwittingly put a load of spaghetti and meat sauce through my garbage disposal(After reading, I now realize that's a no-no). There is a half bath on the other side of the wall where the sink and garbage disposal are. I looked into the bathroom and saw spaghetti and meatsauce floating in the toilet and running onto the floor. The kitchen sinks will drain but everything is running into the toilet. I have snaked the toilet, etc.

Is there anything that I can try before calling the plumber?

Try the product called "1 second plumber". It comes in a can roughly the size of a can of hairspray and will cost you around $10. It's amazing stuff.

Since it sounds like the food has clogged the lines, this stuff will clear it. (don't think you'd have much luck snaking spaghetti!

You'll need some helpers - put plugs into the kitchen sink, and probably the sink in the half bath - do NOT forget the overfill valve in the bathroom sink. (to plug the overflow, or the sinks if you don't have stoppers use a wet rag and press it TIGHT. Make sure you also hold down on the drain plugs, as 1 second plumber can (and will!) pop them out from the force.

Then use the 1 second plumber in your toilet -- there is a special kit/adapter you can buy specifically for toilets. Read the directions really well, but the general gist is that you simply push down, and there is some chemical reaction that causes a high pressure force of air to rush down though the pipes.

This has worked for me on several occasions, including one almost identical to yours where food buildup from the kitchen clogged the drain line for the bathroom on the other side of the way.

Good luck, and don't forgot to hold tight on any drains attached to that line.

You said you snaked the toilet. I take that to mean you ran a toilet auger in the toilet. The blockage is in the sewer pipe. Remove the P trap under sink and snake line or pull toilet and snake the main drain line. Toilet doesn't work either does it?

Snake your drain. 5' auger will probably not do the job. Clog is deeper in the line.

Moral of the story: Don't flush pasta down the drain. It is heavy and will not travel through your sewer pipes as easily as other solids.
