    Eligibility for Portuguese nationality
    I was born as a Portuguese national ex colony of santome I did live in portugal lisbon fom 1970 until 1983 in 1973 I was called for Portuguese army inspection but I was exempt because I was a thelogy student at the time I was not aware of the change of the law at the time and by 1983 I found myself as a santome citizen living in portugal. Can ayone tell me if it is possible to apply for Portuguese nationality?

    The best thing to do in this case is contact the nearest consulate where you'll get the accurate info.
