    L1 Eligibility & H1B
    Hi,

I will graduate in May 2007 and I will start working in July 1, 2007. I've just gotten an offer which I expected to get H1B visa. However, the employer (A) preferred to file me for L1 visa. I wonder whether my profile is eligible for L1 visa. Here is my brief profile:

I work for company A in my country from 2001 to Oct 2004. I took a 2 yr study leave starting from Nov 1, 2004. However, from Nov 04 to June 05, I sometimes went back to work which the company A paid me under a temporary contract. I came to the US and start studying in July, 2005. On Oct 31, 2006, my study leave expired and I resigned from Company A in my country. I will start working with the same company in Boston in July 1, 2007. I wonder whether I am eligible for L1 Visa.

Also, what is differences between L1 and H1B? What are advantages and disadvantages between the two?

    Thanks,
