    I need to know how to wire a new 14.5hp briggs & stratton motor on a lawnmower?

    Go to the B and S website, then go to wiring diagrams, look up your model etc..

I have a new GE commercial motor model # 5KC35JNA489Y, 115v to replace the one on a metal lathe. It has 5 wires, purple, blue, black, white and yellow.. there is a separate switch for forward and reverse.. I'm not sure how to wire this.. any help would be very appreciated
