    Motor wiring?
    I have a new GE commercial motor model # 5KC35JNA489Y, 115v to replace the one on a metal lathe. It has 5 wires, purple, blue, black, white and yellow.. there is a separate switch for forward and reverse.. I'm not sure how to wire this.. any help would be very appreciated

    I went to the Granger site and tried to get some information

    This is Saturday morning 3 AM I called them 1-888-361-8649

    They are 24/7 but techs and data base were not available

    If it is a New motor, it should have connection diagram on Name plate, or under connection cover.
