    Copper or Aluminum wire
Hi I just replaced my Suncutter Package system with a Goodman Package system. The question is should I replace the (main power supply to AC disconnect) aluminum wire with copper?
    Thanks

Copper If you have the extra bucks.
Aluminum works fine on 220 volt circuits but I always prefer copper. Copper does not work loose from expansion and contraction due to heat from the circuit like aluminum does over time. Moisture in the air can also corrode aluminum in a outdoor setting. They make a no corrode paste that is also to be used when using aluminum wire.

Thanks for the info. I Think I'll rewire in the fall with copper.
