Airconditioner Blower
I have a problem with my blower fan in the house to my a/c . I turn on the a/c and it will work fine at the beginning and then with in time the house gets cool and the blowerfan will go off and when it gets ready to come back on at some point, it will not kick on. It starts freezing the pipes outside and there will be no air blowing in the house. I normally have to turn it off and after a while i turn it back on and it works fine again. I can't leave it on for a long period with out it freezing up, what could be the cause of this, last year i replaced the thermostat, and capacitor and this year i just replaced the motor for the blower fan. But it keeps doing this, what should i look at next. What does the relay control?

Looks like your automatic control is not working. The fan should turn off at the specified temperature and turns on automatically to catch up.
Try turning off the cooling system then turning on your fan only to defrost it fast. The last time this happened to me, the blower motor was busted and replaced.
Hope this helps.

I call it the Automatic Control, technically it's the control switch board. This cannot be repaired, they usually replace this when busted. It cost hundreds of dollars plus labor. Make sure you trust the guy who will do it. It's like a flat rectangular plate of tiny electrical wirings. It's situated within the furnace.
NOTE: Always ask for old parts that are being replaced. It minimizes cheating of dishonest repairmen. Statistics shows that one out of 3 men in the repair business is dishonest....

Need advice on compressor. Compressor keeps running after cooling cycle. Installed new thermostat which seemed to help, but a few days later noticed the same problem. Want to know if there is anything we can do before calling a service tech. Thanks.

Wall unit plugged into split plug on dbl 15 breaker. After running 1-2 hrs. breaker trips. Wire warm to hot and plug receptacle warm. Is problem probably the air conditioner or perhaps plugin or breaker. Jim
