I just received an etching from a friend.
It says genuine etching by Martin entitled "The Birch Trees"
It is number 1 and is from the Paris Etching Society and distributed by Turner.
Can anyone tell me about this etch, the painter, and the paris etching society.

Concerning the artist or maybe original etching or print that you have, I have as of yet been unable to find anything, and it may be near impossible to find information because of the kinds of artists whose works were distributed by the Paris Etching Society.

I will keep trying though and it may be that someone will come along who does have a good answer for you.
