I'm still here. Just being quiet more lately, lol!

I've recently been doing some things with religion, and taking care of my parents, and work has been a jumble, so I don't have as much time to post as I used to.

I still think of all of you every day, though, and I'm still keeping your place warm up here, Laura!

Actually, I've been doing better this week than I have in a long time. I've found a "church" to be involved in, and we had Circle on Sunday (albeit a small circle), and I'm liking my job a bit better, and it's been warm and sunny the last couple days.

I'm always so glad to see the start of spring!

Good morning everyone!
The weather's been nice lately so I've been outside with the boys and taking advantage of the doing some walking myself. So far I feel really good. I'm staying at 3 cans of caffeine soda. The neuro doc changed around my meds a little and I've been a little sleepy lately. I't'll be a little while befoe the drwsiness wheres off but its worth it.
Mr. chippers is doing well. He's in physcial therapy and behaving himself.
Laura send me a fairy cake. They sound so good.hehehe. Ryan has been making school buses out of graham crackers, chocolate icing, mini oreo cookies for the wheels and corn chex for the windows.. they're actually pretty good. Maybe millie would like to do that to.
How are you dong Syn. I'm glad to hear from you and everything is going well.
Instead of calling joe girly we could call him curlyjoe.hehe.

Love to all.

My last cigarette was 01/03/2006 at 9:48 am--that's how important it was to me then, I knew the exact time. I only remember it now because I realize how much it stinks--the act itself, my hands afterwards, my hair, my breath & my clothes--everything. You've got to be ready to quit for whatever your personal reasons are. The reason I wanted to quit was a mid-fortyish coworker & her nasty cough. I thought any day we would experience her actually coughing-up a lung. Also, I calculated how much I'd spent in 20 years of a pack-a-day smoke-breaks. And I'm just turning forty (supposedly mid-life--I hope I get another forty). Another thing, you know how anxious you can get if you are running low on your supply? I still have the last pack I drew from. There are about eight cigarettes left in the pack, but when I was quitting, I knew they were there if I really wanted one--no anxiety about being "out of cigarettes." And now, they're too old to smoke. You do whatever you need to do, I'm only sharing what has worked for me so far. In reality, I could easily backslide & become a smoker again--right now, I don't want to. I just hope everyday stress doesn't lead me back to that habit, there are far too many other things I would like to experience. Good Luck!

My dad and I talked today going over the plans for her funneral. If anything my mom had impecible timing. She wouldn't dare be buried on April fools day. Still I'd rather have her here with me. We could go at it where my father would try to refere but the thought of bodily harm kept him on the side lines. Yet she could be loving and caring. I saw that when my husband was deployed in Iraq over the summer. Being a veitnam wife she knew what I was in for.

I am blessed with such great friends as you all. Your love and friends ship is better than anything I could want or need.

As of Monday I will be going to Delaware to help my father sort through her things and help him pick out something to where. She was modest and as dad put it gentel.

I'll take my lap top with me so I can pop in from time to time. I'm doing okay. I'm to write the obit and an eulogy. I want to celebrate her not mourn her.

Joe I love your pic. But I have the feelling you are more of the big curdly teddy bear type than a lion. My kids are great. I'm going tomorrow after I make a few arrangements here. I'll be taking my cat (yes her name is chips) for my comfort zone. I can't possibly tell express what all of you mean to me not just at this moment but in the general sense. Aside from my husband and kids, I've never been more blessed. I have you, laura, christine, Synnnen. You're closeer to me and very dear. If I missed anyone I'm sorrry. You can verbally beat me up later. (snicker snicker)

In times like this, we realize how important life is and the value of the people we choose to let in to our lives. It wasn't by chance I came into this web site but as if the hand of God had guided me.
whether in person, or on the web as we are, we are all very good and kind friends. The ones worth earning and keeping.
I have one request from everyone. Go to your loved ones no matter who they are and hug them. Kiss them and tell tem how important they are to you and that you love them. There's no reason to it just the feelings you have inside. I know this because of the out pouring of lover you're giving me.

LOve,

Chipers

Ps. I kind of fell of the soda wagon. Don't hold it against me because I need a coke classic fix. Hehehehe

Good gooses? That's one of the funniest thing I've heard of. I consider myself blessed to have friends like you and Joe, Christine, Laura (MILlie and of course Superbaby) in my life. It makes life all the more important to me and the rest of us. Its like our own private little meeting place where we can come and chatt. Talk about a problem knonwing there's an abundance of support and love. When Mom died, you were the frist place I wanted to come to because my friends are here. I feel blessed and honored to call you my friends. Were miles away and yet I feel like were neighhbors. I like that feeling. Mom would've liked you too

We know we can come here to talk about a problem without worrying about anyone thinking badly of us ans just to talk about our day to day lives. We also make each other laugh too. So yes, it's easy to be thinking about you regardless of the event.

Besides, you don't try to correct my grammar or spelling.

Leo the lion? Be grateful it isn't clarence the crossed eyed lion. Yes dear, all ladies like to be ladies' of leisure from time to time that's what we try to instill in our husbands on occaision. Lying on silk cushions drinking crystall and our every whim granted.
Then our husbands have the nerve to instill reality. That's when every now and then I keep mr. chippers in check by telling him he can be replaced by a vibrator and the local sperm bank.(jokingly of course. He's my rock and soul mate)
Humor as well as sex and the occaisional all out brawls(verbally) keep a marriage strong and healthy. But at the end of the day, we kiss each other good night and reaffirm our love.
God bless you on days Joe, especially if you aren't a morning person. I totally feel your pain(hehe). While I was on days I was affectionally known as the grumpy dwarf of 7am and that was on a good day. I'm a night person in general. I looked at the shift as a tunnel. At 7am I entered it and by 3pm I came out of it and on my way home. Anything goes in between.
Joe, let me know if you want any toys for superbaby. I have a couple he might love. They're clean but might need a swipe of a baby wipe or two due to mailing
Laura, I'll remail the smart street toy to Millie on Tuesday after easter with a little note from auntie chippers.
I'll be in Delaware for my Mom's funneral on good Friday. So I'll touch base with everyone after that.
I can't thank everyone enough for your outpouring of well wishes and love you have shown me. It means allot knowing I have friends as wonderful as you are. To which none of you can be replaced by anyrhing. I LOVE ALL OF YOU WITH ALL MY HEART!!

IF you snore or have sleep aptnia (stop breathing for 30 to 90 seconds when you are sleeping) now is a really good time to have the surgery to cure the problem. In fact any mouth, nose or trout surgery will make it nearly impossible to even be around someone else who smokes giving you 2 to 12 weeks to get off the hook. Smoke simply smells so bad for a while you can not stand it.

JoeCanada76
Apr 8, 2007, 09:56 AM
Never heard of that before, meaning the surgery.

I have a couple of family members that have sleep apnea.

Your signature makes sense. Ignoring a problem always makes it worse, not almost. Lol

Chippers,

I spent yesterday with family, for Easter, and could not get you and your family out of my thoughts.

I told the family about your family, and the loss you just suffered, and everyone's hearts went out to you. We included you in our prayers, and my 3 year old niece added "God help them to not be sad anymore because she's in Heaven".

Hope our prayers and thoughts helped you get through what must have been a very hard weekend.

Much love,

Syn, you're the best. I had tears in my eyes when I read your note. Please give your family my best and kiss your adorable niece for me. From just knowing you, I can see where her heart of gold comes from.
Easter went pretty well considering. We sat around talking and actually found ourselves laughing at the memories we have of mom and the good times we had with her. It was good to do this as I know my mom would want us to remember her with smiles and not tears. My dad came and spent the day with my boys before dinner and my brother came with his kids.
She was always my rock and even more so last summer while mr. chippers was in Iraq.
Your prayers were felt. They gave me comfort, especially knowing I have such wonderful friends. I told my dad all about you and he says I'm lucky to have good people like you in my life. He only echoed what I already know. I feel very blessed.

Laura, I know what it's like to be alone with a little one while daddy is away. As long as you keep reassuring her he'll be back, you'll be all right and so will she. If possible ask your husband to call if he can and let him say hi to her. Mr. chippers is going away for his national guard drill this weekend and if the weather is nice we're going to a drive in movie. I'll be REMAILING her present out this week now that I've got the address right. It'll go by fast before you both know it.
Remember were here if you need us. Were only a little click away.

Much love,
Your fellow goddess and friend.

Synnen - How's things been with you of late?

Guess what guys - I finished the medicine Chantix on Friday. And guess what else, I want a cigarette sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooooooooooo
Bad.

That medicine must really really work. Being off it feels like when I first started trying to quit. I was on the medicine for 3 months. You can go on it another 3 months, but I am just so tired of medicine. I am just going to push through this madness.

The mornings are the absolute worst! But I refuse to go back, but I really really really miss my cigarettes. I think the only thing that is keeping me from lighting up is my lungs do feel so much better. My asthma has been really good.
I love and miss all of you.

Many hugs to all of you!

You're right, there's nothing to top a child's smile. My oldest and I went out today and spent the day together. He talked about grandma and he let out a few things he was keeping inside. He feels guilty because he didn't have a chance to talk with her before her passing.
It may sound bad but I want him to open up and maybe cry a little. It'll come in time. He's been running around trying to keep busy and try not to think about it.
Christine, hang in there, were holding onto you. You've all done so well in not smoking and I'm very proud of you all. And no, I'd never get tired of hugs. Especially from my fellow goddesses. Our hugs combine our strength and our charm.:p . I think right about now we all could use a ride down the stairs in the clothes basket. I was retelling my family Sunday about the day Ryan created the ride. They couldn't believe there was no hole in the wall.
Laura, it'll pass by fast I promise you. Before I knew it mr chippers was home. And I was better looking. The last impression he had of me was the HUGE black eye I had after walking into a glass wall. Those of us in the U.S. who have seen the windex commercials have a good idea of what I did.( and yes I actually did that and no I have no pics of it)
I'm sending hugs and love to all of you. We all are having a time right now and I can think of no one better than my friends here to coplete the circle of friends with than you.

Allheart, Know that my thoughts are with you. Remember the pictures of superbaby family. Let us give you the strength to stay strong and healthy and away from things that could harm you which are the ciggerates. We all have our bad days but it is friends that keep us strong. It is family and friends that help each other get through things. With a hug, with a picture, with a smile. So my hugs to you Allheart. You make me smile. I want to make you smile just by reading what I have written. Nice and calm and peaceful thoughts. I know earlier it might have not seemed that way with me, but I am happy with my family here at home and with you guys here. I am lifting you up and remember God is always holding you in his arms.

Allheart, honey... give me your hand.

You're up here, on the top branch... look what a scary drop it is going down!

I know how hard it is... I *still* have very bad days where I would do just about anything for a smoke, just one puff, and it's been almost 4 months!

You can do it, I have faith in you. Think of how much easier it is to sleep at night! And how much less cranky you are in the morning (okay, okay... if you're like me, that's not so noticable). Think of how much better you smell, and how much more you can taste things.

And think of your friends here when things get tough. We are always here to give you a hug and hold your hand :)

It's not hard to feel comfort from the kind words given to us by even kinder friends. It's with that we draw strength and feel the warmth they give off and no longer feel the cold of the dark.
We maybe from different places but the circle of friends we share with each other, makes us feel we are closer because we carry that circle in our hearts.
Christine, you've come so far and have done so well. Listen to yourslef when you crave a ciggerette. That will help you find the triggars right now. Take a moment to think why you want one, while you do that, think of how good you feel since you quit smoking. Think of how rotten they taste. Your skin looks and feels better, you don't wake up with the morning smokers cough and your lungs thank you for it.
Usually when we feel stressed we want to smoke. If that's the case, then try and take yourself out of the situation for a moment, get a soda or carry a small snack with you like those 100 calorie snack packs or a sliced apple. I used to carry the mini tootsie pops and nicorette gum. Denying the craving will only make you want it more. It's okay to admitt you want one even out loud so you can hear yourself say it. As you do that, also voice why you quit as well.
I think it's safe to say that you'll never hear any one preach or talk down to you on this blog. Maybe because we know how hard it is to quit. Maybe we've been down the road you're travelling now.
And yes think of superbaby and the puppy, who loves to get the buscuits. Also the incentive of the close basket ride down the stairs should keep you on the straight and narrow. (hehe).
Joe, I'm so glad to hear you're a happy family man. I'm happy with my family as well and blessed to have them. I was once thought of as the old maid aunt who never got married.
It's amazing how a spouse and children change you life forever. Just like a group of emotionally strong friends. Just like you guys are, like we all are.
The best gift you can give yourself is a gift of friendship. So I'd say we're covered till next christmas.
Love to all of you and thank you all for being here.

Hi everyone.
Laura I'd go with the guinea pigs, they aren't as fragile as the rabbits are. With Millie being the whirl wind you say she is, the pigs would fare better. That's just my opinion. I'd hate to see tears in that precious little girls eyes. But the rabbits do better in a rabbit hutch out side. We had a rabbit harvey, who lived in a hutch outside and did very well.

Joe, we need to get you up to kick your arse. Our goddess way of getting your attention. I'm not totally sold on giving a man the power of a god, at least not yet.. men and exhaulted ranks go together like oil and water. Besides as we out number you here, we want to keep the power. Test us and we turn into the fates with a pair of scissors.

Syn, I love your words and quiet strength. We each have something to bring to the group here and we each have special strengths. With that we create the balance that keeps us in balance. Although with Laura threatening to kick our arses if we fall off the branch, we would do well to heed her.

Allheart, If you need a stress reducer with mr. heart, tell him when he really gets on your nerves that men can be replaced with a few toys and the local sperm bank. It worked for me when mr. chippers rides my last nerve.(we've been married for almost 13 years and 14 hours with back labor with the first little chipper lets me get away with it) being slightly off center doesn't hurt either. Telling him you need a little support with not smoking right now should sublty remind him about the better for worst part.
Or getting out for a little fresh air by yourself works wonders. I go to the book store and read the gossip magazines. If I ramble on just chalk it up to senior moment or I left the hair dye on a little too long.

Love to all and to all a good night.

I found if I changed my routine it helped.
I had a habit of going for a coffee and having a smoke on the way and on the way back.
Then every time I had to drive somewhere it meant having a smoke.
I started taking an apple or some peanuts instead.
Quitting cold turkey works for some people but I know if I had to say I would never have a cigarette again I would dwell on it too much.
So I look forward to the next event that I can have one. My next birdie on the golf course I will really enjoy.
Luckily I'm a lousy golfer so I probably won't smoke much.
I also quit for Lent a few times. It was easier knowing it wasn't forever but it showed me I could go for a month and a half. This made quitting full time a lot easier.
Whatever works for you and Good Luck

Also, I read in Glamour magazine that smoking is associated with a form of skin cancer. Not to mention it alters your naturally good looks. My mom was in the hospital years ago for a knee replacement. The hospital was cold turkey in no one smoking. She quit and never smoked again. If you have kids who constantly refer to cigs as drugs because of what the hear in school kind of helps too. More so when you gwet a phone call from the teacher telling you that your little cherub said My mom goes out on the porch all the time to smoke drugs. Luckily the teacher had enough common sense to understand that the it was cigs and not the other stuff. That was enough to end my smoking habit then and there. Life is so much more pleasant without the fear my home will be raided. Even then all they would have to do is look at my front lawn and see the cig butts and not the other stuff.
Openning a gym membership didn't hurt either. Knowing I'm putting out money every month and the idea of knowing working out and smoking don't mix well. Even walking everyday helps increase those endorphins (body's natural feel good medicne) makes it easier to beat the cravings.

Right now after these past 2 weeks I'm no longer on the top branch but with thr roots. I'm dteremined to get back up there with you. I bought water bottles and lipton singles. The cherry blossom is the best. I'll be getting back into my routine and back to myslelf a little. My father said it was all right to call him every couple of days and not everyday. (I got the hint). I'm mother henning him and he hates it. So I'm backing off a little. Onxce we get the living will and life insurance all set again I'll feel better. Mom had neither. If he doesn't want me to come live with him, he'll get it done. Which I've threatened to do. Hehe.

Oh Chippers, you have to allow yourself a little lapse time - So forget about the getting on the top branch for now.

As far as Dad, the one thing I learned from taking care of my Dad and Pops in law, was the need some sense of being in control. For years they told us what to do, and now, slowly the roles are changing every so slightly, and it is very hard for them, especially Daddies.

I would make a suggestion, like Pops you really should eat... "I don't want to eat NO|" he would say. I would say, okay, and just come back at him in a little while. Just letting him feel like he made the choice or decision.

I so love the elderly with all my heart. I hope to work with them one day, even if its just an aid. Anyway, it's a hard role for you Chippers I know, but it will all fall into place, just don't be so hard on yourself, or put too much pressure on yourself.

Awwwww look who came to visit us on such a terrible weather day. And they even quaked at us. We gave them a little something to eat. But it just made my day to see them. They came right to our front door, as if to say, it isn't all that bad, life is still beautiful :) What a blessing and wanted to share it with all of you.

These little duckies are for Millie too - I know how she loves them as well :)

Smile though the water that you were pumping out, was pumping back in through the window…

Smile, as you discovered this mess outside that the landscaper had moved the drain, which made the water that was pumping out, pump right back in 

Thanks for all the positive encouragement. It really is welcomed with open arms. I did the right thing in giving dad some space. I know this because you all made perfect sense. He called me last night and I'll be going down to visit on Thursday -friday. He wants to go through my mom's clothes and give them to charity. He says having them around makes him do too much thinking. He'll be out looking for a part time job this week. He needs to keep busy and he can only go to the store so many tmes. He's been retired for a few years and now with my mom gone, he isn't doing what he did before.
I think were reacting this way because mom's passing was sooo unexpected. As dad says it came out of left field. She had no heart trouble. She stood up too fast, bared down and her heart stopped. Dad lives in Delaware and its hard keeping in touch with him. But as time passes, I'm relaxing more. I'm not pushing him to do anything. He needs to make decisions when he's ready. All I'm really concerned about is him getting his poa and life insurance changed around. I don't care whom he chooses as long as he does it.
Yes, allheart, we did get hit hard. The creek behind my house is cresting. Luckily we live on a smal hill. But the front damage to our house is minimal. The kids had a school delay but UI kept them home to be sure. The roads were flooded and I wasn't comfortable. A three day weekend never hurt anyone did it? Besure to get your house checked for mold after the water is pumped out. I've heard of it growing after a flood because some areas remain damp. Tell mr. allheart if he tries to take that pretty little head of your's I'll Give hima swirlly. I think you'd made a good aide but a better nurse. You have the comapssion for it. The elderly need that.
Mr. chippers went to play army today. He's out in helping people if the had to evacuate due to flooding.
CBW, with you swinging that banana I feel as safer with you than fort knoxx. No ones complained yet but if they do, I'll send them your way. If needed I have a basebal bat under my bed for cases like that.
As for dreaming of someone else's spouse. I'll also at fault for it. I've been dreaming about david james elliot from JAG and he's happily married as well. Ssssshhhhhhhh don't tell mr chippers.
I did dream once I was married to dog the bounty hunter and woke up screaming. Go figurer.

Many hugs and warm afghands,

Love
chippers.

I'm starting to GET nasty today. My boss is on vacation, and everyone thinks that since she's not here to regulate workloads, that they can just dump all of their CRAP on the other admin assistant and I. I don't mind helping, but I don't have time to do my own job now!

Plus the phone is ringing off the hook with people who want it done RIGHT NOW, and when I can't get them in RIGHT NOW, they're being right nasty with me.

I think I'll go postal by the end of the day.

I'm just now starting to give estimates of when it will be done. Like... 2 weeks from now sounds good.

I walked in to a clean desk this morning, and now I don't know what the hell I'm doing.

2 of the managers decided to start projects this morning that need my help every 5 minutes (they now understand why I keep asking for a raise, though) since they don't understand our computer system. They ALSO now understand why I keep asking newer software, too!

I have a headache, and it's not even noon yet, and BOTH of our cars broke down this weekend, so I don't even get to go to lunch today, because I have no vehicle.

I just want to crawl under my desk and start crying. Or light a cigarette. Or both at the same time.

Oh Laura and Synnen - many hugs to you both. Monday are meant to be cranky. Laura, you just hang in there and get some good sleep tonight!!

Synnen - oh as Pops would say, they find the fast horse and race it to the ground. You do what you can. I know how you feel sweetheart and it does p you off big time. Just shut them out as much as you can. Otherwise, you try and do all this work while being in a ball of knots.

My Dear Chippers - Good call keeping the boys home today - it's just way to unpredictable out there. Huge thank you to Mr. Chippers for helping those folks out!!

Annnnnd Mr. Allheart did really well today. He went and got the wet/dry vac, we got all the water up - and then he realized that the rain drains (whatever the heck they are called) were not draining out correctly and probably caused most of the water in our basement. He went and got extensions for them and put them on. I am so proud of him. Mr. A is not much of the handy type - but he did so good today. See, he can do it, I think he just never had the confidence. His brother is a wiz at that kind of stuff and I think hubby just never pursued it too much thinking he couldn't. Any oh ways, he done real good.

Laura and Synnen - I hope today flies by fast for you both. Hang in there!

CBW - that is so cute. I will never ever ever forget the first and dare I say ONLY time Mr. Allheart vaccumed. I laughed so hard my side hurt. See, we don't have little ones, so the domestic stuff is mine and I really don't mind at all. If I had little ones, then I would need help. Anyway - back to the story...

Okay, I was in a major panic because company was due in about 20 minutes. Like everyone, I am a perfectionist when it comes to having company over, anyway... I had my hand fill doing something, can't quite remember, but the bedrooms were still in need of vaccuming.. welllll, Mr. Allheart said, oh I can vacuummm... I said, are you sure he said yup, no problem... so I said okay great, here is the vaccuum and off he went. Well, after 5 minutes I thought I better go and check on him. It just looked so funny. He is a lefty and he kept vacuuming the same 2 inch space over and over and over. At that rate, it would have taken a week for him to do one room. All the while he is vaccuming, he kept saying, you tell anyone I did this and I'll never speak to you again... I was on the floor DYING of laughter, the tears were rolling down my cheeks! Way too funny. Needless to say, the room never did get finished and that was the last of his vaccuming days. Hmmm maybe he just set me up

Apr 16, 2007, 02:15 PM
Oh Synnen not at all. I remember you talking about hubby from the very beginning, he sounds like such a sweet and great guy and he probably doesn't mind at all.

Mr. Allheart's brother does ironing and housework as well. Now if something goes wrong in the house ( like today) I do expect him to either fix it OR pick up the phone and find out how.

But I am spoiled in other ways and I make sure the list just keeps getting longer... hee hee.

Synnen
Apr 16, 2007, 02:31 PM
I'm spoiled ROTTEN and I'll admit it.

Mr. Synnen probably spoils me more than all of us spoil Millie and Superbaby.

I got plants yesterday! $125 worth of all kinds of plants, with a promised trip back once we figure out how to do windowboxes! That was part of the promise he made me back when I quit smoking and was having a bad day--and I had forgotten about it until yesterday when I was wanting a cigarette so badly, and he took me shopping for plants!

I'm such a lucky girl, I shouldn't be so crabby at Mondays.

Allheart
Apr 16, 2007, 02:35 PM
See I did remember Synnen. But he is lucky as well, don't forget that. How sweet of him to do that for you yesterday. Mine just walks around the house calling me Britney Rears (my butt was expanding there for a little while, but I think it's calming down now) and going "coo coo...coo coo", when I do or say something off the wall due to the lack of nicotene. Actually, it is great fun to laugh.

But your honey is a sweetie, but so are you :)

Smoked 30 years or a little better. Chantick don't think it's spelled right. Any way it's the pill. You can smoke while taking it. For the first week. After that, just have one when you have to. You will feel sick to your stomach and get headaches, I stayed on it for three months. My brother did it he smoked 2 to 3 packs a day. Me barely 1 pack a day.

I've got mr. chippers trained very well. He does the bathrooms ( I can't breathe the cleaning chemicals) we have three and vaccums. He'll do the laundry and I'll put it away.
Syn, marriage is a prtnership. I'm sure you do things for mr. syn if he's having a bad day.
I did it when mr. chippers was laid up for a few weeks after his surgery. Although I did go running for the tire iron when he decided to shovel snow the day after he had his rotar cuff repaired. He officially goes back to work on the 22nd. I'll get my routine back to the way I had it before. After my mom passed, I was so busy helping my dad getting the funneral arrangements finished, mr. chippers ran the house and cared for the boys and 5 cats.
Syn, those days come and go where you want to cry from being overwhelmed. I didn't hide under the desk but went off the floor to get a soda and clear my head. I have no doubt about your ability to get the job done (you are a goddess of course) but it stinks the way the others took advantage of you. I'm sure they would be running to the boss if you did it to them. If it helps, think of everyone in pink pocka dot boxer shorts. If that doesn't get you laughing nothing will
Cbw, if your swinging banas again I'll glad you're a friend and I'm not in the line of fire. Its hard running at full speed on 3 hours sleep. But were goddesses arent' we? As long as we look good right.

Love chippers

I quit for 4 years and then started back two years ago. I know, I am stupid, but I was very stressed and didn't resist the urge. Now, I have tried several times with out success of quitting. When I quit before, it was almost too easy. I sit them down and never picked them back up. I want to kick myself for starting back.

I think "once a smoker, always a smoker" Even in those 4 yrs I wasn't smoking, there was times I just wanted one out of the blue? So even when most quit, there is still that urge to start back... so be careful not to fall into the same trap I did! I thought I would have just one and now it is just a pack a day plus two years.

All heart, stick to your guns. You've made it this far. Remember one is too many and 4 are not enough.
Syn, baboons have the bright red heinies for your new décor idea. mr. chippers is almost a foot taller than me. For a wedding gift, I asked for an iron skillet. (they go together if you know what I mean). Whenever mr chippers gets on my nerves while I'm cooking. I pull out the skillet and just leave it there without saying a word.
But I like the monkeys in the kitchen. Kind of gives you the wizard of oz feeling. We can dress you in blue gingum and ruby slippers. Paint the floor yellow and you've got your kitchen. By the way, if you haven'y torn anyone a new arse you're doing just fine hun. Men need to have a little scare once in a while, it pulls them down from their high horse from time to time.
Joe, the closest a man will ever come to true labor is when he passes a kidney stone. I've seen them bring a full grown man to tears. I'll say a prayer for you and your wife.
By the way, what thread is everyone talking about??
I can't wait to see pics of millie and hawee. Just thinking about how she says his name and I melt. My little guy made out fine today. His lazy eye is getting better and he does better if I'm not in the room.
The kids go to school tomorrow and mr chippers will be at the armory with the guard unit. I'll have the house to myself. I won't know what to do. I can't get used to the sudden quiet once they leave. Think I'll dust off my gym pass and walk the track.

AH, that elephant slide leaves too much to the imagination. Mr. Chippers came home Sunday night. It was only a weekend thing and thank you for asking. Friday is his birthday so I have to go to victorias secret for his present. HEHE
I kind of like Dr. Phil. He does get it once in a while.
I'm watching this insurance commercial where daddy is trying to round up his babies when he hears the toilet flushing and a little one saying uh oh. Laura and I know that's a very scary thing to hear. We brace ourselves for impact and wait for the fall out.
My husband was putting shoes on my oldest when he was a baby, saw him chewing on something then hubby openned his mouth and out popped a quarter along with an uh oh.
Talk about atm machines being portable.
With the way cbw said good night, felt like I was on walton's Mountain. It gave me a nice cozy family feeling.
I'm glad your basement is dry AH. I was worried there for a while.
Syn, have you decided on which monkey will go into the kitchen. It could be a wizzard of oz theme. Flying monkeys and frying pans.

Love to all and to all a good night

He's a spoilsport sometimes.

Oh so glad to see that cute little darling back CBW.

Hey Synnen - you are just so brilliant.

Love you Chippers.

Sorry in a bit of a rush. Getting ready to go to the dentist. I am such a baby and soooo scared. My gums have been bleeding a little. I totally have white coat fear. What a big baby I am.

Many hugs and give special hugs and kisses to Hoooooowwwwwieeee for us.

AH - you'll be fine. Just imagine that I'm there holding your hand!

You'd THINK that he'd be okay with the monkeys, after he ruined the fairies in the living room by adding Star Wars stuff all over!

I need about 6 hours more sleep.

I have to disagree with you, Joe.

I LOVE my cats--they're fun and loving and adorable and dignified and intelligent.

Dogs just slobber everywhere! Ewwwwww!

I love dogs. They are a special kind in my book. Plus I will not die being around dogs. When I was younger I was deathly allergic to cats. Maybe that is why the love is not there.

Joe I think you're in minority oooopppps sorry AH I forgot you love dogs. I'm a cat lover as well. Syn you could tell hubby you could plaster monkeys in your kitchen or him. Haaaaaaaah decisions decisions.
Cbw, I can't wait for pics of Millie with Hawee. She is such a beauty. I found out today that my dad is going to move back to New Jersey when his lease is up. I don't mind the drive to Delaware but having him close by is great. The boys will be happy as well.
Hugs to my special friends here. I love you lots.

Good Morning one and all -

Actually, I love all animals - sometimes better than people (sad, but true)

Love my puppy although she is in dog heaven now. She was my best friend and I got along with her better then my own parents or other family members.

I agree allheart. Animals love you unconditonally, humans have a hard time with that concept.

I feel the same way as you do. It's easier to get along with animals better than people. They do love you uynconditionally and listen to all your problems without passing judgement. When mr chippers and I were getting maried, he knew from the get go that my cat chips and I were a package deal there was no me without her. The boyfriends would come and go but she was always my constant companion for 20 years. (yep she lived to be 20) she was a good natured soul err 95% of the time. She might be playing nice with your puppy Joe. She grew up around dogs and liked them.

Love to all animal lovers

Chippers

BTW try claritin-d and astelin nasal spray. Talk about clearing your sinuses. It's nice to finally breathe again!!

My puppy lived until she was 18 years old.

She had a beautiful soul and she was my closest friend. It was hard to leave her when I left home when she was 14 years old.

She was everything, and I do not ever think we will ever have another puppy like her.

I am sure everybody is altogether in heaven. (;

It's hard to leave them behind. Chips hated it if I was late coming home from work. So I know how hard it is to leave them. You're so close they actually feel like a child to you. And like in your case as well as mine, best friends. She had kidney failure and with her age I couldn't see putting her through that. She was too good to me. I put her down and stayed with her. Someone told me when you loose a loved one, you see whose around you that love you. A week after I put her down I found I was pregnant with my first child. She'll always be a part of my heart as I'm sure your puppy is with you and the memories are endless. I'm sure they are together painfree and happy.

I am so happy to hear that it was such a warm and loving reception of the new addition to the family. Millie must be just tickled pink. I can not wait for our boy to be a bit older and bring our first puppy home, although my wife will probably not like it. Lol

You know, sometimes wives and moms get a bum rap. To think we would place anything above our child's and hubby's happiness. But in case I really missed the nail Joe. Here's a trick that ALWAYS works for me no exceptions.

Here, take the puppy and superbaby and put them close to you so your wife can see all shining happy dimpled faces together. No woman could resist that picture. If there's still any question, let her hold puppy and tell her about your best friend. They aren't qute for nothing.

Laura, I'm so happy for you darlin. I promise not to tell Ben he's been replaced by a bunny. Hehe. I'm tickled myself that everything is coming together so well for you and Hawee settling right into his new home.

Love chippers
