Good Morning, where has everyone been? Colts are now 2-2, what a shame, but then again what are the chances of making a 59 yard field goal?

Morning Adam! :)

I'm over another sort of puzzle by Morgaine called short mysteries :)

Sorry to hear that... does that mean they are disqualified or only get less points in the ranking? If the former is true, sorry :(

I can't do the puzzles anymore, I suck at them and I am always late or not around enough to work them.

The Colts still have 12 more games to play this season. Hopefully they make it past those 12 games and go to the playoffs but at the rate they are going, they won't make the playoffs. I always wondered what it felt like to be a fan of a team that was only decent and not awesome. So when you watch a game, and you never know the outcome until the final minutes of the game.

Also, I think Peyton Manning gets so bored playing football, he likes to get down by a couple of touchdowns and then he tries to come back to make it interesting but sometimes he just doesn't make it. Haha

Well seriously it was fun. But I rode a mechanical bull. Not once but four times! It was a blast. I am so bruised. I was gripping so tight with my legs that the inside of my thighs are now black. Huge bruises. I have never bruises like this and I have totaled three cars. Fun, it really was.

It was fun and for the record I was sober. I have to say I was terrified at first of falling off but the padding around it was awesome. It was even fun falling off. Sounds crazy I know. I have pictures that the hubby took on my cell. Not sure how well they will load here but I can try. To fun.

Adam - We miss you at the puzzles. Morgaine and I tried really hard to find ones you didn't know already. You don't suck at all. It was fun playing with you - puzzles, that is. I didn't do anything but play puzzles with you. :o

Sunny - I've ridden those before and they are fun. I've even ridden them with another person - you'll have to try that next time. It helps to have some drinks first. :D

I just had a huge blow out with one of m "best" friends of over 5 years. She was the type of person that expected you to be at her beckon call all hours of the day and night, but Heaven forbid you need her, because then you are just hateful. Sigh, I don't know how to deal with selfish friends. I'd like to say forget about them, but that's something I was never able to do...

What's going on Sunny?

88sunflower
Oct 4, 2010, 10:15 AM
Well there isn't nothing major going on but I am always put last and am sick of it. Its my friend who lost her son a few months back in the truck crash.

First I know she is having an affair, me of all people after what I went through don't approve. But she has been using me as her excuse to meet this guy. So I let it be known I don't like that and she keeps doing it. Well I let it be known to a guy her husband works for that I wasn't with her all these times. Didn't say exactly what she was doing but I am not getting in the middle of it. She stops using me as her excuse or I come clean on her.

I bent over backwards when she lost her son. Spent $100 in stuff to make her food and took a day off work to spend with her at her request. We go shopping. Little did I know she used me to meet her boyfriend. A week after her son dies she uses me to meet her boyfriend! I had no idea until we were face to face. GGrrr... so I call her every day and let it be known she can call me for anything. I sent cards and flowers. A couple weeks after that all settled with the death she comes in my work, sits down and writes thank you cards for her friends that she was going to meet personally to hand them out. Hmm... that kind of stung. I haven't seen one yet. I don't need one but the point is don't write them for your friends in front of me and don't acknowledge me about it.

So today I mention something about lunch. She is all for it. We plan lunch. I get an email from her that she can't do lunch because Lisa called they are going to lunch. Hmm again, didn't she have lunch plans? With me?

Sick of it. These are a few and minor. I am always put last unless she needs something. I know for a fact when she comes in my work she needs something.

Unknown008
Oct 4, 2010, 10:25 AM

Hey Stringer and JLo.

My son was excited. It was his idea so we just said to heck with it lets do it. Moved the beds over and stayed. It was a bit hectic this morning not having everything we needed but its getting together.

Decorating is the best part Stringer. I keep buying everything new and we can't really do it. But I am doing it anyway.

I am still on a mission to find two bar stools. I actually found some nice ones at Walmart of all places and they looked great. Go figure they are out of stock and not sure if or when they are getting more. I called a half dozen Walmarts in my area and none any place.

Gavin kept getting lost. He has two rooms. Only because one is an extra so he has a bedroom and a play room. He kept running in the wrong rooms. Cracking me up all night. My kitties are all confused.

Stringer
Oct 5, 2010, 07:58 AM
We looked everywhere also for for our bar stools with no luck. Until we found two stores that sold mostly bar stools.

Try Googling bar stools in your area.

88sunflower
Oct 5, 2010, 08:01 AM
I googled it many times. I was willing to pay shipping from any place. But the cost of some of those stools are crazy. I was trying to find the right look under a certain amount. I did go to a local store here but they didn't have many to pick from or to order. That's what made me go online. Its not urgent. I need to realize I don't have to have everything at once. But I want it all now.

How are you by the way. We haven't talked in ages. How are you feeling?

He did and he loves it. Its in the picture I posted. There is a wall of cupbards that are behind the island and that's the room. Funny my parents were total opposite. My mom couldn't be bothered. With nothing. Forget school functions or joining sports. That just put her right out. I never got a birthday cake, ever. Lucky to get a card. So for me I guess that's why I go over board at times. For the reasons your saying though. I want him to feel happy and that he had a full childhood. I don't want him to sit on the couch with a TV remote in his hands. There are leaves to be jumping in for crying out loud! Sometimes we even play in the rain. My neighbor wasn't happy the day I sent her little girl home soaking wet from being on the trampoline in the rain. But it was so warm and they loved it. What was the harm?

I call my boss and told him I was closing the store because I had an interview. I thought it was funny. Go to leave, flat tire. Flat like a pancake. GGGrrr...
No big deal since I wasn't dressed for an unexpected interview with all my clothes between houses I didn't dress nicer today like I normally do. I was able to reschedule. Lucky again there is a garage across the road and they can get me in and have it done by the time I am done work. I am just putting all new tires on. I have needed them for a couple years and didn't want to spend the money. Now I am. To funny for me still because I called my boss again and told him I was going to the interview at 10 in the morning.

Unknown008
Oct 9, 2010, 06:37 AM
Well, I had to go to two chemistry tuitions today (I missed last Tuesday's because I didn't know the teacher made it in the morning instead of the afternoon, he didn't have my number and my friends who got the message which was sent to them late on Monday night, either didn't want to go, or thought that everybody else got the news). So, in the morning I had practicals and later, some theory.

It went on nicely though, not problem at all :)

For your job that you got the interview... it's about what job? (If you don't mind)

88sunflower
Oct 9, 2010, 06:56 AM
Oh my interview was for this security company here but they also do other technology things. Like they do alarms and security for businesses and residential. They also do the phone systems and voice mails. Music like elevator music and that type thing. There is a pile of things they do and I can't remember them all. But I know it started as a security place and they are moving in other areas as well. They are expanding which is a good thing. Where I am now he is doing poorly and could easily close any day. So this interview could be good. I feel I did well but its not up to me.

Hey Sunny and Bear! How are you? I am not a big turkey fan, I will eat anything so I don't complain but I usually eat ham on Thanksgiving. Unless it is a deep fried turkey then it is good and moist and awesome. I just think Turkey is mostly dry. I will eat the leftovers for a Turkey sandwich but that is about it. Now that you all know that I am not a big fan of turkey and I capitilized the word Turkey half of the time here for no reason, I am now just rambling on and I apologize but I am kind of hiper this morning but at the same time, I could just pass out at any second. Oh and Bear, It is suffocating. All right then, I should really stop this about now...

Adam your to funny. I feel all sorts of energy from you now. Deep fried turkey is awesome. My turkey is usually moist. I usually cut each side open pretty deep and shove a stick of butter in it. Keeps is good and juicy and more fattening. Yummy. But deep fried is way better.

What is going on here? Is he being evicted from the store or whatever the case may be? I hope you get the other job because this doesn't sound good at all.

Adam this isn't good. He used to bring in tons of money. But long story short he likes to collect the money but not put it back in the business. He is building a half million dollar home all with cash from the business. Not to mention the Hummer, the Caddys and the toys he has to have. Well slowly this has been catching up to him. Slowly our vendors are not selling to us unless its cash first because he won't pay them. Well same with the workers comp and state taxes. He has been paying me cash under the table for 4 weeks now and its ticking me off. I don't want that. But that's the only way I can get paid right now because of this workers comp thing he has going on. Well now he also hasn't been paying the taxes on the store. Finally after warnings they are there. The party is there to close him down as I sit and type. His only saving grace is this store where I am is only leased. So I am guessing he can keep this open and keep it running. Which he will need. But bad part is all his invoices and in progress jobs will be locked in the other store. Ouch. I don't think he can make it. He was crying. I felt bad. But at the same time he has been so cocky all this time he was digging his own grave.

adam_89
Oct 12, 2010, 12:09 PM
Well it sounds like he did it to himself. You can only do stuff for so long before it catched up with you and it did catch him. If I were you, I would get out soon. I know you have been trying but it sounds as if he is going quick so I just don't want to see you get stuck in it too.

88sunflower
Oct 12, 2010, 12:33 PM
Well he lucked out but I am not sure what he is going to do. He just called to have me stop payment on this check I sent out so the money would still be in the account and he could use it. Some how he talked to them and they took what he had and he has to pay the rest tomorrow. The saga will continue.

I should be out soon. I had that interview and the best part was that they didn't call me for the actual job posted. They say I had a strong accounting back ground and they are adding on an accountant. That why they called. I think I have it. I am under the impression once they get me an office and a desk they are adding me on. A couple weeks from what I understood. I don't think they are looking at other applicants.

88sunflower
Oct 12, 2010, 12:39 PM

She has been studying very long hours way into the wee morning hours, we sometimes need to make an appointment to say 'hi.' She is at class now until 9:30 PM taking a test in anatomy, she had to learn among other things 208 bones in the body for this test. Remember that I'm in Canada, so it will be cold. In other words, no bikini clad mermaids or anything like that, because the kids will be outside (along with me) freezing their arses off.

Is this really worth a bag of bad candy?

It's worth it for the kids Alty! I would love to be able to go trick-or-treating again. Damn getting old sucks!!

No bear I am not sure when I will know. I am distracted enough with the new house so the wait isn't to bad.

Alty my mom used to take pure white sheets and tie them around us, paint our faces white and bang, a ghost. Kind of drape it over there head like a cloak and if its to long you tie it up with a belt. Sometimes black eye liner was smudged under our eyes for the effect.

KC I am 37 and still trick or treat with my son. Hey if I am walking with him then I am collecting. Yes I dress up.

Say the word KC and you can take my kids. I'll even make you a costume, and the kids will split the candy with you.

Bring mittens and a warm coat. ;)

I asked Jared if he wanted to go with friends this year, instead of with me and Syd. He's 12 now, old enough to go with friends (even though I'd worry until he got home). He said no. Most of his friends are older, and no longer going out. Now he's all worried that he's too old to go.

They're growing up too fast. :(

I like the ghost idea. Maybe I can find some cheap sheets at the thrift store. They can go as paisley ghosts. ;)

Syd wants to be a witch, which is really shocking me. This kid usually wants to be something cute, or pretty. It's either been princess or kitty since she was old enough to go trick or treating. Now she wants to be a witch. Yay!

I'm going to put curlers in my hair, cold cream on my face, fuzzy slippers and a fuzzy housecoat and go as my mother-in-law. :)

They tend to do that. :(

Do they have any idea what they want to be for Halloween?

Good morning, all. :)

Witches can be cute and pretty. Anyone remember Free Spirit?

Good morning, all. :)

Syd wants to be a witch (I already have a black wig).

Jared wants to be some character from a comic book he likes. I don't know the name of it, but the costume is a bit blah. It would require ripped jeans, a ripped shirt, a bandanna and a sword. He really wants to be an army guy, but he doesn't want us to spend the money. Major guilt trip there. :(

I'm sure I'll figure something out. I usually sew their costumes, but the fabric section of Walmart is gone now. They just got rid of it. The cost of material there was great, often $1/yard. I can't find that price anywhere else and I refuse to spend $30 on material for a costume that will likely only last one year.

Maybe they can wear some of my clothes, go as me. ;)

Did I read in a post that you were going back to work soon Alty? Won't that be great? I hope so. It's a good time of year with the holidays coming.

Gavins costume is lame. He wanted to be a T-bird like from the movie Grease. Haha funny I know. He is obbsessed with that movie. I searched high and low for a T-bird jacket and couldn't find one in his size. So he settled for a ninja suit from Walmart. Whatever, it works.

I agree. But secretly I would have just bought him a wig. He has blonde hair.

I am so proud of me. I go to the gym most days on my lunch. Been three years now. Never thought it made much of a change. Well today I took a class the gym manager was instructing and I impressed him! Whoop whoop. On my way out he said I was a little power house, me, a power house. I love it! The stomach work out was nothing for me and the arms were nothing for me. The legs got me a bit but I was happy for myself. (patting my own back right here)

I was supposed to start back this month, same job as last year, the flu run. They contacted me, asked me back, I filled in my time sheet, and so far they haven't called to tell me when I'm booked.

I called them the other day to find out what's going on. Everyone is getting part time hours, until they can figure out how busy they'll be (should be a lot quieter this year because there's no H1N1).

I asked if I'm getting any shifts, and they said they put me as a stand by, because I'm not able to work evenings and weekends. So we'll see.

I was hoping to get full time hours like last year, but there are too many employees, not enough hours, and because I have to juggle my hours around hubby's schedule, I'm not priority.

Too bad. It's good money. I could definitely use it. ;)

Ninja is always a good standby. :)

I am in total understanding of your job situation and having to work around the hubby. I have to do the same thing and for lack of better words it truly sucks and I feel it holds me back. There are a lot of jobs I haven't bothered trying for because of the hours or weekends. I have no sitter for weekends. So I can only work M-F jobs. I shouldn't complain but I feel it holds me back from other opportunities. Just my opinion.

adam_89

Good Morning.

I want a weekend where I am doing nothing but sitting around and watching movies and eating food and whatever else I feel like.

Instead, I spent Saturday at work until noon, then went to my dads house and looked at my car until about 3, went home and worked on my car until 6. Got a hair cut and went to town for dinner around 9.

Sunday I woke up around 7 to work on my car. Everything kept going wrong, finally had a break through around 2 so I quit and went to my nephews birthday party. Went to town to get a part for my car around 5:30. Got screwed and had to drive to another town to get it. Got home around 9. put part on and was done at 9:30. By the time everything was done and cleaned up and I was clean. I got to bed around midnight after wathcing a movie.

That pretty much sums up my weekend.

88sunflower
Oct 18, 2010, 10:25 AM
Hey adam. Well at least you fit a party in there. Normally I am constantly busy. But I don't have everything moved in the new house yet so its super easy to keep clean.

Crap is going to hit the fan with me. They built me a cupboard with no door. Of course I complain. Idiots. I have this beautiful kitchen with a missing cupboard door and I am supposed to ignore that. Someone is there now and they tell my hubby they don't have a door to fit it. Well then I suggest you make one to fit it. This will not rest until I have one. How idiotic can someone be?

adam_89
Oct 18, 2010, 10:50 AM
Yea, I didn't have time to clean up before I went to the party covered in dirt and grease because I had to get back to working on it anyway but at least I made it.

Really though on the cupboard? That is pretty idiotic. It kind of makes me laugh at how stupid people can be. At least I know I am not the only one who attracts stupid people. Haha.

Oct 18, 2010, 10:59 AM

adam_89
Oct 18, 2010, 11:23 AM
Some people just think other people won't notice their mistakes or they won't care enough to complain. Maybe that is what they thought. Either way, they were stupid. Haha.

Yea, my girlfriend is living with me again. Things are going good, very happy now. Right now, I am so tired I keep falling asleep at my desk.
