Nothing quite like getting a call from a PI at 8am on a Monday to tweak the nerves.
Nice guy... wanted to interview me as a reference for my college roommate for a security clearance.
Synnen
Jul 23, 2007, 06:10 AM
Did you tell him about your roommate's nosy wife?

One less thing to worry about.
Ben took fly back this morning :( he was pidling and pooping everywhere I'm gutted but I also know that no cat is worth mine or my daughters or even my unborn child's health.
Synnen
Jul 23, 2007, 07:14 AM
I could ship Nos to you if you like.

I don't know if I'm "happy" about it... I feel pretty sad, actually.
But... I can't keep doing what they want me to, so I'm going to have to find a healthier way to deal with them.
Laura... coffee everywhere, thanks so much!

Anyone see "Victoria Beckam - Coming to America?"
I never really knew much about her - except that she was a Spice Girl and her husband is a famous athelete. She gives off the aura of a real and/or snob.
I was so surprised to find out she is funny and genuinely nice. She just exists in a lifestyle that I can't see myself in.
startover22
Jul 23, 2007, 08:29 AM
What kind of lifestyle?

No not today start just the sweet older guy who really helped me make the decision regarding fly he breads cats and after what he saw this morning and then him urinating everywhere he just looked at me and said you know what you have to do.

alkalineangel
Jul 24, 2007, 07:50 AM
I don't know. Its eery, I didn't hve to scroll through pages and pages to catch up.
I think it's a girl. I keep referring to it as "she".. by accident, not on purpose. Connor thinks it is as well.
Emland
Jul 24, 2007, 07:51 AM
I just knew my first one was a girl. Wesley proved me wrong! I had no inkling on the second. I found out when her amnio came back.
alkalineangel
Jul 24, 2007, 08:07 AM
Lol.. I told myself Connor was a girl, but really thought he'd be a boy deep down, this time I keep trying not to get my hopes up for a girl, but the "she's" and "hers" keep slipping in there. I also have no interest in finding a boys name.. lol... its probably just wishful thinking. I'd love another boy, but it would be nice to have one of each. Its just so much fun to guess... I used to have a grandmother that just knew by looking at you what you'd have. We never knew her secret, but she knew I was having a boy from the moment I was 9 weeks or so along... she guessed every kid right.
J_9
Jul 24, 2007, 08:12 AM
My mother was like that. When I was pregnant with Steven I just knew it would be a girl. Mom was 650 miles away from me and sent me presents every month. Made me promise not to open them. She went along with my Girl Thinking... then I had Steven, opened the presents... and they were all boy clothes. She did that with all 4 of mine although were were hundreds, once thousands, of miles apart.

I've always thought they could reduce the laws to misdemeanor stupidity, felony stupidity, misdemeanor evil and felony evil.
Seems like most crimes fall into one of those four categories.

I was wondering if someone else had the same problem that I do: My physical problems come in bunches like I will go months not having a problem. But then Ill hurt something and ninety other problems rear their ugly head. For instance, hurt my ankle, then a few days into having that I caught a slight cold, nothing serious but noticeable, however it's pretty much gone, then for the past three months I've had this tooth problem but it usually goes away after a day, just comes around whenever. The problem was that I had a tooth that didn't come out when I was a kid and another tooth was trying to come into that spot. Anyway so the tooth was a little loose last night, so this morning I got the pleasure of pulling my own tooth out of my mouth, I couldn't convince a family member to do it. I know I sound like I am complaining, and I am, but I don't mean to lol. The good news is that everything is healing and I'm almost back to 100%, just I don't want to think what happens when the problems come back again.

BEIJING - Chinese doctors removed part of a patient's crippling 33 pound tumor mass drooping from his head and face on Tuesday, the biggest on record, and his condition was stable, doctors said.
Huang Chuncai, 31, from the southern province of Hunan, could hardly speak because the mass was so huge. His left eye was totally covered, his left ear hung down to his shoulder, and his right ear and jaw were engulfed.
Doctors removed the largest of the tumors in an operation that lasted one and a half hours.
I bet they send it to the U.S. diguised as a ham. Wadda you think?

My sister is Nancy A. Collins. My personal favorite of hers is Walking Wolf (it is about a man who is a werewolf but doesn't really understand what he is and is adopted by Native Americans who believe he is a god. Set in the old west, he runs into a vampire gunslinger and all sort of other trouble.
She just finished her last revision for new stuff that is coming out soon, but I'm not allowed to give out the title, yet.

With writing, literally it's all about just doing it. A lot of people get intimidated and never attempt it, but if you just sat down with an empty piece of paper and not think about what your writing, but just wrote something, you might be interested in what you put down. I love writing, in all forms, poetry, music, books, and I think everyone can do it. I've actually had a few offers to have some poetry of mine published, but I turned them down. When I talk with other writers, the one way you get inspiration or grow, is reading and being able to recognize techniques of other writers.

Here is just a small excerpt of that journal:
May 17, CBW reluctantly returns to Paris to marry the man she had seen for the first time only two days before the ceremony. He is Renée-Pélagie de Montreuil. The newlyweds live with the Montreuils in Paris. Almost immediately, CBW's mother-in-law, Mme de Montreuil, concludes that Rene's's father has cheated the couple of the money he promised in the Marriage Contract.
June, CBW continues libertine activities with male prostitutes in her secret apartment on the rue Mouffetard.
August, CBW brings her new husband to her in-laws' estate, Echauffour, in Normandy.
October 15, CBW returns to Paris alone on business, but on October 18 hires a male prostitute, Jock Testard, who the next day complains to the police about his sacrilegious conversation. He did not claim to have been assaulted in any other way but verbally.
October 29, CBW is arrested and imprisoned in the Royal chateau of Vincennes by means of a lettre de cachet.
As you can see, it is a story of pure deciet and reckless sexual abandon. CBW, I hope you have settled down these days!

She said she needed to because of family history, but yes, I didn't really want them, but she insisted. It's a new doctor in the practice, not my normal one, but I definitely will have a word with my normal one, because she had already asked me if I wanted them a few weeks ago and I had said no. I have never had these tests with any other pregnancy.. I never wanted to know whether the baby had downs or cystic or the chromosone disorder, They can't do anything until its born anyway, and It never made a difference to me. I mean Im not furious or anything, I just hate having blood drawn, and it only tells you if there is a chance of having it, its just so much worry... and plus I wanted the gosh darn ultrasound :).
