    Leak in sill in basement
I am at my wits end trying to figure this out. I have a leak in the corner of my basement about 8" in from the side wall. The floor board is wet and the board above the sill is wet. About a 7" area. On the outside I have patio doors however it does not go over to where the patio door is, it is over about 8". Directly on the outside is brick.

I have caulked all around the outside deck and patio door, I have placed flashing up on the roof thinking maybe it is running down. I see no visible openings and yet it is still leaking? The foundation itself is not leaking nor is it wet?

I need some advice to what this may be.

    Thank you

    Dave

If Its In The Basement The Actually Leak May Be Much Lower Than You Door Sill. From The Sound Of It Id Say That Your Foundation May Have A Spot That Isn't Waterproofed Enough.
You've Already Done The Obvious, Caulking The Brick Molding On The Door, You Can Also Use Clear Silicone On The Exterior Threshold Where It Sets On The Brick,

If You Can Give Any More Details Please Do, And Well Give It Some More Thought

I have a leak about 7" from the corner in of my basement. It seems to start on the osb board from the main floor and travels down the floor framing to the sill. This area is above the grade on the outside of the house.

On the outside directly opposite is brick veneer and about 8" to the right (from basement) is a patio door. I have caulked every area on the outside and even went to the roof and put flashing under the shingles to ensure that water was not getting in that way.

I am at my wits end and hope that you may help.
