    I'm not familiar with blue yonder setup, so can I just ask how the broadband connection works, do you connect via a router or a broadband modem?

    When you say you plug the USB wire and ethernet cables in, where are they coming from?

    If the PC is giving you the New hardware installed message but doesn't proceed from there then you might need to install drivers for the USB..

    If we are not understanding each other then let me know...

    Well you have the modem and an ethernet wire you put the blueyonder cd in and wait for instructions to plug wires in the plug um in and it should b OK from there but the comp does no that the modem is there because it shos limited or no connectivity but I obviously have none lol

    There might be a possibility that the PC network card needs driver updates, check whether your blue yonder CD comes with NIC (network/ethernet card) drivers?

    Ok, I'm still a little confused, sorry!

    So it's like this

    PC --(usb)--> Modem --(ethernet)-->? --> Internet

    Where does the ethernet cable go to?
