I doubt it. Most of the time if you bleed during your pregnancy it is lighter than normal.. meaning that you would have a lighter flow, not shorter days... It is not uncommon for you to have different lengths to your period... mine tend to range from 4-7 days, normally hanging around the 5 day mark... I don't know how far along you are but typically there will be some sort of early ultrasound for dating purposes, around 10 weeks or so, unless you insurance will only cover one, in which case the doctors will have to rely on your bloodwork... most people will have at least one ultrasound done by 20 weeks. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

That happened to me. I was on the pill when I got pregnant, and had a shorter then usual period. The next month I found out that I was pregnant. They thought I might be having twins for a while, then they did an ultrasound at 20 weeks, and it showed that I was 3 weeks further along then they thought. So it is possible, but they say it's rare.

I had a friend just last week who went in for a level 2 ultrasound because something in her blood test made them think the baby had spina bifida, but it turned out instead of being 18 weeks along, she was 25 weeks.. lol... it does happen, but most doctors will go by the LMP until an ultrasound says otherwise...

I had a period all the way thrugh my pregnancy,
I was in the depivera injection (double dose) and double dose of the pill a day due to a condition called graves disease, the contraceptives never worked so they kept upping the doses until they didn't dare give me anything else,
I didn't find out I was pregnant till I was 6 month pregnant, went for a scan and they said congratulations it's a boy :o I said ummmm what they then told me I was 6 month gone
The only sure way to tell how far is by the scan and even this can often be wrong as I found out when they told me with ne f my kids I was 16 week and I was 24 week..
Ps good luck with the pregnancy :) and congrats

Hi, graves disease is an autoimmune disease which causes overaction in the thyroid gland..
The thyroid glad is the part of your body that controls the metabolism which makes me use my energy, vitamins, minerals , tablets, anything inside me works overboard,
It causes me to lose weight, get tired very quickly, very fast heart rate, nervousness and depression, as it uses up tablets a lot more quick than it should as my body works overtime , s the injection and contraceptive pills only work for a very short and limited time, a 12 month dose lasts me a couple of weeks, this is why they put me on 2.. 12 month doses and also had to take 2 pills every day 1 in the morning and 1 at night time so it would last in my body, as they have discovered 4 children and umpteen miscarriages and another baby on the way later that the doses given still don't work,
They will not give me any more as they say the doses higher culd be potentially lethal and cause thrombosis and heart attack or severe stroke
A list of effects are
Fatigue
Insomnia
Trouble getting pregnant
Frequent bowel movements
Irritability
Weight loss without dieting
Heat sensitivity
Increased sweating
Muscular weakness
Changes in vision /puffed out and bulging eyes
Lighter periods
Rapid heart beat
Hand tremors
The only one f these I do not suffer from is the difficulty getting pregnant, it seems to have had the opposite effect on me I just have difficulty in keeping the baby's to full term..
Because of bieng pregnant as often as I have done I have not had much treatment for it because the tablets can cross over the placenta.. so they just now having to keep a check to make sure I don't develop thyrotoxic storm which can be lethal as it can give me heart failure and lack of conciesness (sorry about the spelling )
