    Filing a Lien
    How Do You File A Lien on a piece of real estate without a lawyer? I have paid over $600 for work to be done on a property and have not been repaid. The house is under contract and ready to close!! Help! Thanks.

    Unless you are a Contractor and can exercise a Contractor Lien on the property, then you will need to sue for the amount in court, get a judgment and then ask for the judgment amount to be placed on the property as a lien.
