    W4 status for filing tax
    Hi,
    Iam on H1B. Im single and supporting my mother in India. Can I qualify for filing as Head of house hold ? Or should my mother be in USA for doing so ?

    No, you do NOT qualify for Head of Household.

    To qualify for HoH, you must provide a home for the qualifying person for AT LEAST six months out of the year.
