    The first and third one are named in the normal way, look up the metal, then look up the non-metal and stick -ide on the end, they don't have special names.

    For example CuO is Copper Oxide. NaCl is Sodium Chloride.

    The 2nd one I will help you with NH3 is called Ammonia.

    Let me know what you think the first and third ones should be called, and I'll correct you if you need it.

    A simple Google search told me (and you can do it too, it isn't too hard), even though I already knew, that:

    KBr = Potassium (what, you tell us)
    NH3 = Ammonia or Ammonium (you tell us)
    and
    MgO = Magnesium (what?)

    Hun, if we do your homework for you, how will you pass your tests?

    Think about what I said, you need to convert them to have -ide on the end.

    You have learned (I hope) -ate and -ide, which do you think they are, you are on the right track so far, but still a little off.

    Sweetie, when I went through Chemistry I had a professor I could not even understand, he spoke Bangladesh or something.

    Now, see how good you feel that you did it by yourself, well, mostly!! :p
