The remote for my Hampton Fan will not turn the fan off. I changed the batteries in the remote. Any other suggestions?

Is the red LED activating on the remote? What happens when you turn off the wall switch? Does the light turn on and off?

The light button works but the fan button doesn't. I don't see an red LED light. Where might it be?

If the light button works and the fan button don't work, you either have a disconnected wire in the fan base or your remote is faulty.

It could be the remote but more likely it is the receiver. What happens when you cut power to the fan, then reapply?
