I just purchased a single tub, combo washer/dryer (ventless) to put into a bathroom closet that is next to my shower. The plan is to tap the water lines from the wall shared between the closet and the shower. I could run a hose around the wall and drain the laundry water into the bathroom sink or shower stall - but I'd have to do this each time I run the washer/dryer. I cannot fit a utility sink into the closet. I was thinking of using a pvc pipe (maybe 6" or so in diameter) to use as a "skinny" sink in the closet and have my makeshift sink drain through a pipe (or hose) through the wall into my shower (maybe 4" or 5" from the ground). Tapping into the existing drain pipes in the bathroom will mean tearing up the concrete subfloor (I live on the 3rd floor of a condo).

My question is: Are there any compact laundry drain sinks out there (I may have a 1'x2' space in the closet to play with - maybe)? Or any alternative solutions to making a permanent drain solution in the closet (in addition to piping the laundry water through the wall into the shower stall)?
