    Notice of Intend to Defend
Hi. I have been reading all of the information regarding credit card companies suing. I too am being sued by Capitol One. My orginial debt was for $800. Which was charged off at $1300. Now they are suing me for $2400.. I submitted a notice with the courts and mailed a copy to the attorneys that I intend to defend the case. I did not answer each claim filed by attorney and my question is that is the letter of 'intend to defend' enough for them to know that I am defending myself against the claims? I told them that I intend to defend but lack sufficient knowledge to neither admit nor deny the allegations and that I am requesting a validation of debt and production of documents from plaintiff. It is now coming up on the 20 days and I am getting nervous that I may have not explained myself enough.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Well I am concerned that I did not explain what exactly I am defending. Do I need to be specific?
