Living in NY I was used to it . A drive into Manhattan meant the constant reminder that Trump was if not the best real estate developer ;he was the best at marketing his name. At it's peak in 2015 there were 17 buildings. It is down some as TDS caused some residence to insist on name changes .And he is still barred from doing business there for a few more years

But still his name is PROMINENTLY displayed in large gold letters ;as is his right as he either owns ;leases ;or licensed his name to the buildings.

As President he has taken that branding business model national through executive order .

Since the start of his 2nd term he has put this plan in motion.

He named himself Chair of the Kennedy Center . Then installed trustees he favors . Then he added his name to the Center .

He added his name to the State Dept US Institute of Peace building near the national mall.

A new web sight to shop for cheap drugs is called 'TrumpRX,gov'

The National Park Service has added Trump's birthday as one of the days someone can go to the parks for free. And if you want to get a park pass before having Trump's mug plastered on it ;you have 3 more days (probably too late )

There are designs by the Treasury to have his mug on new 1 dollar coins .

Last week it was announced that the Navy had plans to build a massive new and expensive class of battle ship. ( Last seen on the bottom of Pearl Harbor ) . The new "Trump Class" battleship will cost $15 billion each.

To be fair ;the new platform will not look like the obsolete big gun /heavy armor battleship of old. Initial designs show it to be an overly large platform to launch missiles and futuristic rail guns. (last try was scrapped in 2021 due to high energy use needed for the weapon ;and barrel erosion ) .
This ship will displace almost 30,000 -40,000 tons .This is not Ford Class carrier sized displacement but huge for similar combat surface ships The DDG-51destroyer class displaces 9,000 tons and costs $2.8 billion each. The last attempt tu build bigger ;the DDG-1000 class displaced 15,000 tons. The program ended after 3 were built .It took 11 years for one to be built . Trump thinks his Big Beautiful Boat will be done by 2030

Historically naming honors are bestowed on Presidents after they leave office. But Trump's Presidency is unprecedented .
