Step 2 Marry a legal American.

To date an illegal that married an American would still have a tough path to become a citizen. But under Joe's plan he is announcing today , about a half a million illegal spouses will move to the front of the line if they have managed to avoid being deported for 10 years.

He will "democratically" implement his new plan by executive action without Congressional authorization.

Earlier this year; like the emperor he was claiming he needed Congress to act. Now apparently he has decided he doesn't need Congress .....separation of powers be damned.

Section 212(d)(5) of the Immigration and Nationality Act allows for temporary parole on a case by case basis in extreme circumstances, or on urgent humanitarian grounds. It does NOT allow for blanket paroles.

The INA is law passed by Congress. Joe's amnesty is against the law.

A person must occupy the property for 10 years to be able to claim ownership by adverse possession.

The Dems when they talk of "path to citizenship" and other such rhetoric ;they really mean that after a time period, illegal act should become legal.

In this case it is after 10 years. And apparently that is not contingent on pretending to act like a good lawful citizen.
